An article about planners at the World Planners Congress signing a petition to stop the gateway project because they believe it will lead to more car dependency and urban sprawl. They state that rising energy costs and the future drought of oil will make it a careless and useless expense. They also state that densification should occur in the area not only in high-rise construction.
This article is simplistic. It provides no alternatives to the GP, only the position of people who oppose it.
